This evening I visited the "Luisenhain", a quite popular park in Bamberg. It is an important site for Middle Spotted Woodpecker, Pied Flycatchers and other scarce breeders.
So I was quite astonished, that I could observe any of these species and take good pictures of them as well. Obviously all birds have adapted to the regular presence of humans. This is probably the reason why I got closer to species like Pied Flycatchers than ever before.
